Why Things Go Wrong And What The Bible Says About Putting Them Right

#12 - Anger - The Dangerous Response to Solving Problems

Speaker
Rev. Don Horban
Scripture
Proverbs 16:32

#12 in the series "Why Things Go Wrong"

The Bible consistently uses the measure found in Proverbs 16:32 to define a truly great person. A great person has the ability to deal responsibly and Scripturally with his or her anger. This is not the worlds measuring stick for greatness. The world measures greatness by a person's ability to express himself. This trait of self expression is foolishly and frequently defined with words like honest and open. The Scriptures, however, measure greatness by the ability not to express anger when we feel like expressing it. Remember, problems will only be solved successfully when they are solved God's way. And God's way will constantly be at odds with the advice of this fallen world.
